This is one of them. I am always drawn to books about monarchies/rulers fighting over succession. This book stands out for me because it's unusual to see someone who was twenty third in line have any claim to the throne at all! Very intrigued to see what happens to Freya. I'm curious as to how things are going to wrap up in this book as well, considering it's a standalone (no cliffhangers, yay!). And I'm always looking for new fantasy reads, so to sum up, I am very excited about Long May She Reign, and I'm really glad February isn't too far away.
