I am RIDICULOUSLY excited for this book. I was the biggest Alex Rider fan when I was younger, and I am so happy there's going to be another book in the series! The way the last book ended was kind of sad and I always felt everything wasn't fully resolved, so I'm really glad we get to see Alex again and find out what he's been up to. Plus, Jack might be alive?! I hope she is, because I was devastated when she died in Scorpia Rising. In any case, I need this book. I'm looking forward to seeing how Alex is faring in San Francisco (and living with Sabina?! I always thought that was a bit weird). I'm also curious as to what Mrs Jones's role in this will be, because it's going to be so awkward when (I'm assuming when) she gets in touch with Alex again... I must admit, while I am immensely excited for this book, I am also a bit worried it will ruin the series. Will just have to keep hoping it will be as good as all the others - not long to wait now!

I really loved Cristin Terrill's first book All Our Yesterdays, so I'm very much looking forward to this! I have a feeling this is going to be a very suspenseful YA thriller, and I am all for it. For some reason, I am always drawn to books about con artists (I don't know what this says about me), so mix that up with some thriller-y, secretive mystery, and I'm bound to like it. Especially since I predict there are going to be a load of crazy plot twists in this book. I'm really not a fan of the cover (the blocky eye thingy...why?!) but I'm reading this book anyway because it sounds fantastic.

This sounds adorable. I haven't read anything with this kind of plot before! And it has everything I like in it - witches, magic, problems to overcome, wit, a sassy heroine - I mean, what's not to like? I can just imagine Amber's predicament and how she must be feeling - and I am extremely curious as to how things are going to turn out. I'm hoping this is going to be a really fun and cute book and I can't wait to read it! I can't decide whether I like the cover or not (kind of?) but I'll be reading it no matter what - now to wait for May!

You know some books just have really appealing titles? This is one of them. I am always drawn to books about monarchies/rulers fighting over succession. This book stands out for me because it's unusual to see someone who was twenty third in line have any claim to the throne at all! Very intrigued to see what happens to Freya. I'm curious as to how things are going to wrap up in this book as well, considering it's a standalone (no cliffhangers, yay!). And I'm always looking for new fantasy reads, so to sum up, I am very excited about Long May She Reign, and I'm really glad February isn't too far away.

I am so excited about this book! I've read the first two chapters (which are available online) and it sounds amazing! Magicy and awesome and just everything I want in a fantasy novel. And I love the writing style and the characters so far seem very cool. Plus, everyone who has already read this book seems to have loved it, so that's another reason I can't wait to read it! And would you LOOK at that cover? It's beautiful! Beautiful! At least February isn't too far away (oh my God, February isn't even too far away anymore. To quote Ally Carter because it seems fitting- "time, the greatest thief of all").

Okay, so at this point, I will read pretty much anything Ally Carter writes, but could this synopsis be any more cryptic? Give us something! Especially after that ending in All Fall Down. Waiting for book two after that has been torture! Ahh. I honestly can't wait to read this and find out how Grace is coping. I have no idea what's going to happen (you never do will Ally Carter books) but I'm dying to know! At least January isn't too far away now (that's a scary though, I can't believe it's already November...). I'm not a huge fan of this UK cover though. And the title is in such tiny font on the left, you can barely see it. Oh well.

Er, how amazing does this book sound? The very (very) lucky people who have managed to get early copies have all seemed to love it and honestly, I'm not surprised. It sounds so good! I can't wait to meet Raisa and read about her struggles (and romance!). Plus, this cover. I love it. I like swords a lot. And I really like that font. Ugh why are so many good books coming out in 2016? I can't wait that long!

I am sort of fussy about the contemps I read, but I really love the sound of This Raging Light. From the early reviews, it seems like it's going to be an emotional rollercoaster with amazing characters and so I'm looking forward to reading it. I do get the feeling it's going to be one of those open-ended books though, where not everything is resolved. I'm not usually a huge fan of that type of ending, but since I really do love the synopsis, I'm going to give this book a go anyway. Also, I used to much prefer the US cover (which you can view on Goodreads, it's the more colourful one) and while it still probably is my favourite, the UK one has definitely grown on me.

I think everyone who enjoyed the Grisha Trilogy is waiting for this book. It's set in the same world, but with different characters, and it sounds awesome! Plus, I'll pretty much read anything Leigh Bardugo writes at this point. I really love books about heists and Kaz definitely sounds like an interesting character. My one worry is that I won't enjoy all the POV switches, because I usually get attached to a few characters only and don't care about the other POVs. I'm hoping Leigh Bardugo can pull it off (because I really loved the characters in the Grisha series) but I'll just have to wait and see! Not long to go now until release date.
